Statement of Solidarity - HOPE Program

June 9, 2020

Though we struggle to find words to convey the sorrow and rage we feel at the senseless death of another unarmed black citizen, the staff of the HOPE Program stand in solidarity and raise our voices with those who take action against all forms of racism, hate, and discrimination. Requiring equal parts fierceness and empathy, this fight for inclusion and fairness is our fight and the shift is ours (personally and collectively) to make.  The movement has begun, our work/fight is at SRJC, in our community, in the world and we are committed to being a part of that change.

The HOPE Staff,

Stan Bragg
Daisy Cardenas
