President Chong gave the following report to the Board of Trustees at their April 14, 2015 meeting:

• Classified employee Debbie Weatherly was selected to be a winner of the 4CS Classified Senate President Service Award for the 2014-15 year.
• The President’s Office student worker Y Pham was accepted into Cornell University.
• The President’s Circle Lunch for donors who have contributed over $150,000 went very well. He thanked Terry Lindley for attending and Kate McClintock for organizing.
• He attended the Classified Staff Recognition Dinner and thanked Kathy Matthies for organizing.
• He attended the SRJC Football Luau with Trustees Call, Burns, Battenfeld and former Trustees Zumwalt and Maggini. The event raised funds for the football program.
• He visited the University of Nebraska, Lincoln to discuss Asian leadership.
• He attended The Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education conference in San Francisco and thanked Li Collier for attending.
• There will be two Celebrations of Life on campus on April 26:
  • Nick Anast, 11am Under the Oaks
  • Bob Mastin, 1pm in Bertolini, Student Activities Center
• He was selected to be the Grand Marshall of the Burbank Rose Parade on May 16.
